The Spectacle – new single/video

It’s a miracle! We’ve recorded, mixed, mastered and released a track in almost exactly one month. Unheard of in I LIKE TRAINS’ extensive history. And yet… it’s already out of date.

Here’s our ode to Boris. Specifically, the line we were fed by him and his cronies, that despite all of the scandals ‘he delivered’. And somehow, that’s his legacy sorted. Somehow.

‘The Spectacle‘ is a standalone single. Part of the KOMPROMAT world, but not quite closure. There’s more where Boris came from. It’s accompanied by another jaunty walk through modern history by Michael Connolly, the architect of all the KOMPROMAT artwork and videos. We’d recommend viewing it with your eyes.

You’ll find ‘The Spectacle’ in all the usual music places, including our Bandcamp where you can download 24-bit wavs on a pay-what-you-feel basis.

But wait… ‘The Spectacle’ is really a hook to remind you that we’re FINALLY hitting the road and that you should book tickets for our pop concerts. London and Leeds dates are just around the corner. Michael Connolly is on video projection duty for all dates. All present and correct.
